About Leslie
I grew up on the East Coast in the vibrant, historic city of St. John’s, Newfoundland. The charming seaside character of my hometown helped shape the creative spirit I carry with me today.

As the oldest of four girls, my childhood was full of change—we moved from house to house, and with each move, I found myself rearranging furniture and sketching floor plans. I was always looking for ways to make each new space feel like home. It became a running joke in our house: my parents would go out for the evening and return to a completely reimagined living room. At the time, they didn’t quite understand my obsession—but little did we all know, those early signs of creativity were pointing me toward my future.

As a young mom, I poured that same passion into creating beautiful, comfortable, and most importantly, functional homes for my family. I worked closely with contractors to transform standard builds into homes with character—homes that stood out in the neighborhood. Long before I earned a formal title, I had already developed a reputation as an interior designer.

Today, I live with my family in the beautiful town of Cochrane, Alberta. For the past 19 years, I’ve been devoted to raising my two boys while also pursuing academic goals—including becoming a certified Interior Decorator through Mount Royal University. Completing the program with excellence only affirmed what I already knew: this is where I’m meant to be.

Lark Design Interiors was born out of love—a passion project turned profession. It’s a home-based business grounded in years of hands-on experience and a deep desire to create homes that feel as good as they look. I specialize in designing timeless, functional spaces that reflect your personality, all while maintaining a high standard of quality and attention to detail.
I want to educate, collaborate, and bring lasting value to your home. Let’s create something beautiful together.
